Hokey TU looking for Youth Day Volunteers

 

The Hokendauqua Chapter of Trout Unlimited needs YOUR help!

What: Jake’s Youth Field Day at Ontelaunee Rod & Gun Club; assisting youth ages 8 - 16 (Spin fishing) 

Where: Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, 8100 Gun Club Road, New Tripoli, PA

When: Saturday, August 6, 2022, be at the pond by 7:30 a.m. The event concludes at 4:00 p.m.  

Volunteers should bring:

• Rags to wipe hands
• Hemostat or pliers for hook removal
• Pen or pencil
• Line clipper
• Hat
• Sunscreen and bug spray
• Rain gear if needed (Event is rain or shine) 
• Rods, bobbers, hooks, worms, lunch and bottled water are provided.

Notes: Volunteers are needed to assist the young anglers many who have never fished before. Ten groups with approximately a dozen per group will pass by the pond. Five groups will be at the pond in the morning the first arriving at 8:00 a.m.
