These walks will be taking place at the Johnson Estate this Saturday and Sunday (11/5 and 11/6). As you know from the posts below, this property is involved in a bit of controversy concerning the fate of the house and some of the surrounding property. Come for a Nature Walk through the New Park! Explore the Beauty and History of the Estate of the first Mayor of Bethlehem and former President of Bethlehem Steel, Archibald Johnston. Members of Lehigh Valley Audubon, Appalachian Mountain Club, Sierra Club and Trout Unlimited will be on hand. Free Hot cider and fresh muffins will be served by Bethlehem Votech students and nature activities will be provided for the kids! Bring your boots, and cameras. Some birding books and binoculars will be available for use. Arrive at 12:50pm for check-in at the park.
