There has been no information forthcoming from PFBC on this change, however as quoted in the Morning Call, Greg Wetzel of the Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation, it was strictly a PFBC decision and came from Harrisburg.
With the exception of the regulation change on wading, all other C&R FFO rules still apply, and as always feeding the fish from the hatchery area is still prohibited.
The PFBC plans to hold their Winter Quarterly meeting January 24, at the Harrisburg headquarters. The business meeting is at 7pm, and the public is able to interact with PFBC commissioners. More details may be found in the PFBC press release on this subject. Other listed agenda items are additions to the Class A list, and restrictions on fishing at Leaser Lake until 2016.
