It's a new year so you need a 2013 fishing license.  The WCO' s still patrol in January, especially when it's a nice warm day.

Schedule Change

At the request of the land owner, we will have to change the date for our private pond fishing day. The date will be moved to May 11th, with a rain date of May 12th. If you wish to join us please RSVP to monocacytu491@gmail.com.  There are plenty of spots available for both the a.m and p.m sessions.

Local Fishing Destination Program: Fishing the Lower Chesapeake Bay

An overview of the popular locations, species and techniques for fishing the lower Chesapeake Bay, with a focus on the Virginia Beach area. Topics to be covered include a discussion on ocean tactics for Striped Bass, locations for launching boats and kayaks, favorite places to eat and for overnight stays, and a description of the seasonal fisheries using both fly fishing and conventional tackle.

2013 Program Schedule

The Official 2013 program and meeting schedule has been published and can be seen on the "Articles" page.  Meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of the month @ the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) log cabin on 8th Ave. in Bethlehem. Meetings start @ 7pm.  Special events and/or times will be noted for that particular day.

Somerset Fly Fishing Show

The Annual Fly Fishing Show in Somerset, NJ is back.  Located at the Garden State Convention Center it runs January 25th- 27th.  Hours are: Friday 10am- 6pm, Saturday 8:30am- 6pm and Sunday 9am- 4:30pm.  All information can be found by clicking here : Fly Fishing Show.
